Looking north on Post Street, c. 1904.  The white buildings on the left were the Pennington Hotel and Davenport's Restaurant.  The red building with the conical roof on its tower was the Auditorium Building.

Riverside Avenue looking west from Bernard Street, c. 1906.  The elaborate building neare the center was built in 1900 by F. Lewis Clark as the Spokane Club. Other names (reflecting the succession of occupants) have been the Chamber of Commerce Building, the Metals Building and the American Legion Building
