Coeur d'Alene Park

Coeur d'Alene Park was the first park built in the city of Spokane.  It featured a fountain and a Turkish-style gazebo designed by architect Kirtland Cutter.

J. J.  Browne and A. M. Cannon arrived in Spokane Falls in 1878.   They donated the ten-acre park to the city in 1891.
Browne designed a neighborhood known as Browne's Addition around the park.
