JUST IN: Another SWAMPER out!
Just hours ago we reported that mass resignations occurred in the State Department, as the entire senior level of management officials resigned. The swamp pulled the plug on itself, apparently. Many more resignations may be coming next, just not from such high level positions. A recent survey showed that upwards of 28% of federal workers may quit their jobs under Trump’s administration (and similar numbers were quoted before the election, due to the “possibility” of a Trump presidency). Also resigning today: Border Patrol Chief Mark Morgan — whose resignation follows yesterday’s executive orders on immigration. Apparently, he wasn’t too fond of the possibility of actually doing his job.

Rare color images from 1899 offer glimpse into a lost North Africa
The images look decades ahead of their time: color stills of 19th century scenes, sharp and beautifully rendered in earthy shades evoking the dry heat of their setting, North Africa. Not paintings, but not photographs like you and I know them today. Something in between and a treat for the eyes. Called photochroms, a form of photolithography, these high end portraits of life in colonial North Africa are a time travel tour through a forgotten era; rich with politicking and not always the innocent postcards they may seem.

Libs Who Want To Move To Canada Blocked By Its Strict Immigration Policies
Liberals seeking to move to Canada because they are unhappy with the election results are finding that Canada won’t take them because its immigration policies exclude those who won’t contribute to the economy. One of the policies of President Donald Trump that has some Democrats claiming they want to jump ship is his pledge to limit immigration from people whose lives in America would be dependent on welfare. Trump promises “extreme vetting” before accepting immigrants or refugees.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo addressed a crowd on Wednesday afternoon regarding the Trump administration’s plans for deporting illegal aliens.
Cuomo incorrectly states that President Donald Trump will deport “immigrants,” likely not-so-inadvertently leaving out the correct phrase “illegal immigrants.” Regardless of Cuomo’s error, in his rhetoric, the Governor states that if Trump administration is going to start deporting, they should start with him first.

CAIR Leaders Compare Trump’s Refugee Ban To Slavery
CAIR is not happy with President Trump’s new executive order banning refugees from certain Middle Eastern countries. The executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations reacted to the ban by declaring it’s the moral equivalent of slavery and would not strengthen national security.

A Tariff with Mexico Will Ensure Americans Pay for Border Wall
The AP is reporting that Sean Spicer has informed reporters that President Trump is considering a 20% on Mexican goods as a way to fund his Mexican border wall.  Though Trump has insisted throughout his presidential campaign that “Mexico will pay” for any such project, this move would ensure that it is Americans who will suffer the costs as they are forced to pay extra on Mexican goods coming into the country. Throughout his campaign, Trump’s rhetoric has constantly demonstrated a fundamental misunderstanding on the very nature of trade. While Trump constantly refers to trade in militaristic terms with “winners and losers”, free trade is always beneficial for both sides.

Another College’s Speech Code at Odds With First Amendment Values
In the words of Supreme Court Justice William Brennan Jr., America serves as a “marketplace of ideas.” A state-funded college campus, of all places, should epitomize this function. But restrictive policies on campuses across the country are silencing certain viewpoints and limiting speech on campus. Taxpayer-funded institutions should be the last place to shut down free speech.

Congressional Delay Threatens Obamacare Repeal
President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans should reiterate their commitment to the full repeal of Obamacare. They should also signal their determination to reject Obamacare’s flawed framework and to replacing it with patient-centered and market-based reforms.

In Defense of Bill Pryor for the Supreme Court
Rumor has it that Judge William H. Pryor Jr. topped President Donald Trump’s short list for the Supreme Court.

Before Leaving Office, Obama Administration Admits It Got Student Loan Data Wrong
On the last day of the Obama administration’s tenure, the College Scorecard the department established has been quietly revealed to have serious flaws. The Obama administration conceded coding errors found in the College Scorecard inflated college repayment rates, potentially misleading students. The Wall Street Journal went as far as to report that, “on closer inspection, the mistake doesn’t look innocent or innocuous.”

The left-wing propagandist group Media Matters for America is secretly working behind the scenes with Facebook to combat so-called fake news, documents released by the Washington Free Beacon have revealed. The progressive advocacy group told donors at a weekend retreat in Florida that it is in discussion with Facebook leadership over how best to fight fake news and propaganda, according to a briefing book obtained at the high level event.

In the wake of the announcement of President Trump’s new border security measures, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto has cancelled his planned visit to the United States and expected meeting with the new president. The security measures released on Wednesday are designed to not only stop the tide of illegal immigration but also to interfere with the cash flow of the notoriously vicious Mexican drug cartels which just so happen to have most likely financed the political campaign of Enrique Pena Nieto!

With high-paid talking heads like Rush Limbaugh claiming that the two party system actually exists, it’s hard for narrow-minded members of the general public to figure out the true pyramid scheme which is essentially the fact that the two party system does not exist and is nothing more than a dual monarchy.

As part of his blitz of latest executive orders, which as reported yesterday would institute sweeping changes to U.S. refugee and immigration policies including a ban on people from countries in the Middle East and North Africa deemed as a “terror risk”, a separate order also lays the groundwork for an escalation of U.S. military involvement in Syria by directing the Pentagon and the State Department to craft a plan to create safe zones for civilians fleeing the conflict there.

Kearns: America Gets Raw Deal Protecting Trade Partners
New president correctly sees the U.S. is losing cash on the transactions of globalism
The New York Times certainly loves the globalist agenda. In a misleading infographic, they recently touted the benefits that America gains from its military defense of Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The Times has bristled at President Trump’s questioning of “what America puts in and gets out of global alliances.” Reporters Max Fisher and Sergio Pecanha offered a seemingly data-driven counter-assessment of U.S. military spending throughout the world — an obvious attempt at rebuking the president’s skepticism of “internationalism.”

Low interest rates have helped defuse the United States' debt problems so far, but that won't last for long, strategist Peter Schiff told CNBC. Schiff, president and CEO of Euro Pacific Capital, said on Thursday "the debt bomb is going to explode." "I think the [Federal Reserve] is going to try to inflate its way out of this problem, but it's going to inflate its way into a bigger one," Schiff said on "Squawk Alley."

Tax Plan Sows Confusion as Tensions With Mexico Soar
President Trump’s decision to build a wall along the length of the United States’ southern border with Mexico erupted into a diplomatic standoff on Thursday, leading to the cancellation of a White House visit by Mexico’s president and sharply rising tensions over who would pay for the wall. With the conflict escalating, Mr. Trump appeared to embrace a proposal by House Republicans that would impose a 20 percent tax on all imported goods. The White House press secretary, Sean Spicer, told reporters that the proceeds would be used to pay for the border wall, estimated to cost as much as $20 billion. But a furious uproar prompted Mr. Spicer to temper his earlier remarks, saying the plan was simply “one idea” that might work to finance the wall. Mr. Spicer said it was not the job of the White House to “roll something out” on tax policy, while Mr. Trump’s chief of staff, Reince Priebus, said the administration was considering “a buffet of options.”

The Normans, from the Old Norse for ‘north men,’ were the descendants of indigenous Scandinavian seafaring pirates and traders called Vikings, who colonized the northwestern part of France in the early 9th century AD. They ruled the region known today as Normandy until the midpoint of the 13th century. The most illustrious of the Normans, William the Conqueror, invaded England in 1066. William vanquished the resident Anglo-Saxons; after William the Conqueror, several kings of England, including Richard the Lionheart, Henry I, and Henry II were of Norman blood and ruled both England and Normandy.

U.S. New Home Sales Drop Sharply in December
New home sales posted a steep decline in December, an indication that affordability challenges are beginning to cut into demand. Purchases of newly built, single-family houses, which account for a small share of overall U.S. home sales, decreased 10.4% from November to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 536,000 last month, the Commerce Department said Thursday. That was the slowest monthly sales pace since February and the steepest one-month drop since March 2015.

‘A lot of scared people’: Relentless snow collapses hundreds of Idaho roofs, devastates rural county
One woman has died. Others have been injured. The onion-processing industry has lost 25 percent of its capacity. The roof of the bowling alley in Weiser, Idaho, came crashing down first on Jan. 9. Then, last week, the roof of Ridley’s Family Market in Weiser collapsed. The roof of the Gospel Tabernacle Church is gone too. More than 100 building roofs have collapsed in Washington County, where Weiser is located. Not to be forgotten is the fact that this is onion country, dotted with onion sheds. They’ve been hard hit too. Some 18 onion storage facilities have collapsed, among them four belonging to Murakami Produce.

Muslims Have Secret Meeting And Admit That They're ALL RADICAL. We Can't Make This Up.
Donald J. Trump called to end Muslim immigration for refugees from certain countries. Here's why. At a secret meeting, Muslims all admit that there is no difference between a moderate Muslim and a radical Muslim. Muslim immigrants, assembled in Norway (a liberal country with an open borders policy on Muslim immigrants) have assembled in a Muslim-only conference, where they talk about Islam and their portrayal in the media. Unlike a debate format in which there are points and counterpoints, this conference looks like the only purpose it serves is to say that every Muslim would be considered radical because they all believe in segregation by sex, stoning for adultery and rape, and death to infidels.
