A great churchman (Anglican) and for many years President of the Young Men's Christian Association of Quebec, member of the National Council, Toronto, and the International Committee, New York. A life member and past president of St. George's Society, Quebec. For 25 years Superintendant of Trinity Church Sunday School.
He married EMMA CLARA ROSS
on 2 September 1891 at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, by Rev. H. J. Petry, B.A.
eldest daughter of HENRY and HARRIETT ANN (SAIT) ROSS
she was born 19 December 1869 at St. Ambroise, Lorette, Quebec
and died 20 September 1959 at Farnham, Quebec
buried at Quebec from Trinity church, 22 September 1959 in Mount Hermon Cemetery
For many years she was President of the Y.W.C.A., and of the Ladies Aid of Trinity Church, Quebec.
In the year 1900 Miss Lily Bourget was engaged to be governess of their seven children who named her "Gabby", and she remained with the family for the rest of her life, 60 years. She died at Quebec, 18 June 1960 at 86 years of age.
