Obama Makes Three Factual Gaffes On Leno… Media Ignore
It is no longer the media’s job to cover news. Instead, the media manufacture narratives around those they wish to elevate and those they wish to destroy. This is how the media promotes Democrats and attempts to marginalize Republicans. And because the media-manufactured narrative around Obama is that he is competent, the fact that he made THREE factual gaffes in just a few minutes with Jay Leno the other night is ignored by the media.

IRS scandal hits 3 month mark -- where's the accountability, Mr. Obama?
Saturday, August 10 marks the third month of the IRS scandal. On May10, when Lois Lerner, the former Director of the IRS Exempt Organizations Division, answered a question at a legal conference – a question she arranged to have asked in advance -- she clearly had no idea what would happen next. When she admitted that the IRS had targeted conservative groups, simply because of their political beliefs, she touched off a national firestorm. Her inept attempt to apologize for the Agency’s blunder, and put it to rest, backfired. In the past three months, we have learned that the Obama administration repeatedly tried to downplay this unlawful targeting scheme which is an unprecedented breach of the public’s trust by the IRS.

Credit Card Application Denied? Be Sure to Ask Why
Reconsideration is an unpublished “secret” in the credit card industry. If your credit card application has been rejected, there is a number you can call to explain your side of the story to a real person and appeal for approval. When your credit card application has been declined, the bank or issuer has to tell you why. If you have an explanation or solution to their objection, this reconsideration process could be a good option for you.

Gay marriage issue entangles Corbett
Defending a divisive gay marriage ban is probably not the fight Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett would have chosen 15 months ahead of an election he’s widely expected to lose. A majority of Pennsylvanians now support same-sex marriage, a dramatic shift from just a few years ago.
Obama, tech execs talk surveillance
President Barack Obama hosted Apple CEO Tim Cook, AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson, Google computer scientist Vint Cerf and other tech executives and civil liberties leaders on Thursday for a closed-door meeting about government surveillance, sources tell POLITICO.

Obama MIA on military sex assault?
President Barack Obama has no problem forcing changes at the Pentagon. In five years, he’s drawn down the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, repealed “don’t ask, don’t tell” and given a green light to allow women to fight alongside men in combat. But when it comes to the next big battle at the Defense Department — over sexual assault in the ranks — don’t expect Obama to lead the charge.
