Brush fire destroys three East Spokane buildings
On Thursday, just before 7 p.m. firefighters responded to a brush fire at Buckeye and Upriver Drive. Within minutes, an old barn, out building and home were in flames.

Goldendale fire doubles to 4,600 acres
The Department of Natural Resources says a wildfire burning near Goldendale in south-central Washington has doubled in size to about 4,600 acres or about 7 square miles.
