Overpasses For Obama's Impeachment Protests All Across America Today
Perhaps you saw one of their protests on your way to work, today. Hundreds of these grassroots protests were staged on overpasses nationwide this morning during rush hour, and hundreds more are expected, later today for the afternoon rush. The group’s website lists numerous reasons for impeachment and the activists are calling for Obama’s removal from office. But as White House Dossier’s Keith Koffler says, ‘with little chance of Congress acting to try to remove the president based on currently known facts, today’s “Patriot Wave” day of protests seem more an outlet to show displeasure with Obama than an actual drive to impeach him.’

The Hateful Side of Immigration Reform
After covering Tuesday’s immigration reform rally on the steps of Los Angeles City Hall, I’m convinced that the proponents of immigration reform don’t want to persuade American voters to support their agenda. They want to bully them into submission.

The Day I Stopped Saying 'Hurry Up'
Although the words "hurry up" did little if nothing to increase my child's speed, I said them anyway. Maybe even more than the words, "I love you." The truth hurts, but the truth heals... and brings me closer to the parent I want to be.

Voter ID: Are 72% of Huffington Post Readers Racist?
Like much of the rest of the mainstream media, when it comes to discussing the issue of voter ID, here is what the Huffington Post's Knafo and Reilly choose not to disclose: A full 72% of DEMOCRATS see voter ID as "good thing."

What is less well known–what is not taught to us–is that there was much more to this anti-Nazi movement. Its leaders inside military, clergy, and political circles made multiple attempts through multiple emissaries on behalf of multiple factions to strike deals with the British and American governments. Their terms were always and redundantly the same. They offered to overthrow Hitler and the Nazi hierarchy and surrender Germany’s armies to the British and the Americans. In exchange, they wanted British and/or American aid to keep the Red Army out of eastern and central Europe.

FATBERG! 15-Ton 'Lump Of Lard' Removed From London Sewer
A " 'bus-sized lump' of food fat mixed with wet wipes" has been removed from a southwest London sewer, the BBC says. The 15-ton behemoth was the largest "congealed lump of lard" ever found in the Thames Water sewage system, supervisor Gordon Hailwood says in a statement. Nearby residents were reporting that their toilets wouldn't flush because the system was so clogged. It took three weeks to hack the monster into pieces and haul them away in "heavy duty lorries," Hailwood also said.

Defense Department ducks reform
The Pentagon says it’s complied with each requirement Congress has put in place to address sexual assault in its ranks, and any delays are just the result of the normal process of handling records and working out bugs in its systems. In recent months, the Defense Department has even taken some proactive steps such as launching new training programs and reviewing thousands of personnel records. But a look at the history tells a different story: of a massive bureaucracy flouting Congress’s wishes at every turn — even as recently as today, when a database mandated in a 2008 law still sits unfinished, despite the Pentagon spending nearly $14 million to put it in place.
