Lara Logan, foreign correspondent for CBS’s 60 Minutes, said Breitbart News offers “the other side” of news media relative to what she described as a mostly left-wing and partisan Democrat news landscape in the U.S. and abroad. She offered her remarks in an interview published last Friday with the Mike Drop podcast, hosted by retired Navy SEAL Mike Ritland. Towards the end of the interview, Logan quipped, “This interview is professional suicide for me.”

Diocese of Toronto Suffragan Bishop Kevin Robertson said to ENS that Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby told him in person his spouse would not be invited. "He said if I invite your spouses to the Lambeth Conference, there won't be a Lambeth Conference," Robertson said.

"The Hate Hoax" Featuring Actor Jussie Smollett
On CBS's "The Late Show" with Stephen Colbert last week, actress Ellen Page took aim at President Trump and Vice President Pence, holding them responsible for the "hate crime" attack on black, homosexual actor Jussie Smollett. Over 18 million people have watched Page's rant against the President and Vice President on social media. The Chicago police have been investigating to apprehend those who committed the brutal hate crime. And they have now solved the case. The Chicago police are now reporting that they believe it was a hoax. Yep, the whole thing---the homophobic hate, the racist hate, the attempted lynching, and the physical attack---the whole thing arranged and paid for by Smollett.

How actor Jussie Smollett’s tale was tailor-made to play into the existing stereotypes of progressive minds; a look at how fear drives our political divisions; the Left and the Right react to Amazon’s HQ2 incentives, and the scuttling of the deal with New York City, in different ways; and a hard truth about personal identity and social media. It’s not accurate to say, “This sort of thing almost always turns out to be a hoax,” and it’s also not accurate to say, “This sort of thing almost never turns out to be a hoax.”

Firefighters responded to Rodda Paint at 6818 E. Sprague Ave. after witnesses reported heavy smoke coming from the southwest corner of the building, said Scott Niebuhr, spokesman for the Spokane Valley Fire Department. Originally Bill Brown Chrysler Plymouth, it was Spokane Chrysler just prior to being Rodda Paint.
