25th ANNIVERSARY RECEPTION

     The following appeared in the News-Standard of Coulee City, Washington on Feb. 26, 1964.

COUPLE HONORED AT RECEPTION

     Mr. & Mrs. Henry Taschereau greeted approximately 190 relatives and friends at a receiption in their home Sunday afternoon in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary.
     The cake and table decorations were carried out in green and white.  Taking turns at the refreshment table, cutting and pouring, were mrs. Charles Taschereau of Walla Walla, Mrs. Clair Seaton of The Dalles, Oregon, Mrs. Pat Vance, Mrs. Henry Ewell, Mrs. Evelyn Travis, Mrs. Harry Miller, Mrs. David Spurbeck and Mrs. Aleta Thiry.
     Mrs. Tom Davis and Mrs. Gene McDonald greeted the guests at the door.
     The gift table was in charge of Peggy Dorlarque, Nancy Bise and Mrs. Bob Bise.
     Hostesses for the event were Mrs. Harold mcLean, Mrs. bob jessup, Mrs. Jerry Allen, Mrs. Tom Davis, Mrs. Claude Miller, Mrs. Clyde Miller, Mrs. Frank Miller and Mrs. Clarence Adams, Jr.
     Members of the Taschereau's immediate families able to attend were Mrs. Taschereau's parents, Mr. & Mrs. S. J. Seaton of Coulee Dam, her brother and wife, Mr. & Mrs. Clair Seaton of The Dalles, Ore; her sister, Mrs. Pat Vance and family; and Mr. Taschereau's brother and wife, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Taschereau of Walla Walla.
     Out of town guests included Mr. & Mrs. Widby Crider and Mr. & Mrs. Warren I Smith of Grand Coulee; Mr. & Mrs. William Kriete and Mrs. Ella Joplin of Soap Lake; Mr. & Mrs. C. J. Rabideau, Mr. & Mrs. Albert Carlson, Mr. & Mrs. Wendell Rice of Coulee Dam; Mr. & Mrs. Harold St. Jeor and Stanley, Mrs. C. S. Barrows, and Mr. & Mrs. Henry Eisler of Elmer City; Mr. &. Mrs. Melvin Thoren of Mansfield; and Mr. & Mrs. John Stephenson of Wilbur.


     The following appeared in a community news column in The Star of Grand Coulee, Washington on Feb. 27, 1964.

     Among those attending the reception honoring Mr. and Mrs. Henry Taschereau's 25th wedding anniversary Sunday afternoon in Coulee City were her parents Mr. and Mrs. Sam Seaton and their grandson Charles Seaton, Mr. and Mrs. Al Carlson accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Rice, Mr. and Mrs. Harold St. Jeor and son Stanley, Mrs. C. S. Barrows, Mr. and Mrs. Widby Crider and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Eisler.
