Interpol says no country checked its database before Malaysia flight
Vietnamese authorities searching waters for the plane spotted an object Sunday that they suspected was one of the plane's doors. It was found in waters about 56 miles south of Tho Chu island, in the same area where oil slicks were spotted Saturday.

Atheists Still Battling to Remove Ground Zero Cross
Across the United States, atheist groups are taking cases to the courts in an attempt to remove all references to Christianity from the public sphere of American life. Using a twisted and grossly over-extended interpretation of the "separation of church and state" clause in the 1st Amendment, these groups argue that even a cross pulled from the wreckage of the World Trade Center should not be allowed a place at the World Trade Center memorial funded in part by public funds. The cross was a source of hope and inspiration in the first few days after the September 11th terrorist attacks.

US Still Determined to See American Missionary Released from North Korea
For more than 15 months North Korea has held Kenneth Bae, an American citizen and missionary, behind bars. Last May he was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor for allegedly attempting to "overthrow" the North Korean government. Christians are completely repressed in North Korea, with an estimated 50,000 to 70,000 currently imprisoned in political prison camps around the country. A recent U.N. report documenting these camps gathered evidence of torture, starvation, and execution on a scale eerily similar to the Nazi regime.

Are Egypt’s Christians persecuted? Copts’ answers vary
What is persecution? Does it affect all Christians in a country in the same way? These are important questions to consider. In an interview with a number of Egyptians, each of them speaks about their own situation. In the past few months some have seen their Muslim neighbors warm to them and even apologize for the actions of extremists who have been responsible for attacks on hundreds of Christian owned churches and buildings. As you pray for Christians in the areas where hostility is present, do not forget those who are not persecutors, but in many cases are part of the solution.

Rubio and Ryan, GOP leaders in Congress all see big drops in support
Dr. Ben Carson, who gained prominence with a 27-minute speech challenging Mr. Obama when the two appeared at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast, is also on the rise. In last year’s straw poll, taken just after that speech, he garnered 4 percent of the vote, but jumped to 9 percent this year.
