| Okanogan County plans to auction the property at Whistler Canyon this December. The parking area and easements would be retained for the trail. Local groups are trying to raise funds to purchase the 70 acre rock bluffs that dominate the trailhead. This area includes the Frog Pond trail and a popular rock climbing area. If you would like to help or have ideas to keep this area accessible to the public contact the PNTA or the Back Country Horsemen – Okanogan chapter. |
