PILLARS BREAK LOOSE: A group of Badger Mountain residents inspect 30-foot pillars that broke loose from a rock cliff on the south side of Badger Mountain in 1910. The site was northeast of the John and Maude Witte farm. The youth standing to the left, Keith Witte, was playing in the vicinity just a few hours earlier.
