A LOOK AT TRINIDAD’S MYSTERIOUS ROCK OVENS
Buried in the sagebrush in a small ravine a few miles from Trinidad stands a stone beehive-like structure. In the same ravine, a similar structure can be seen. This one looks like it has had its roof collapse. These unusual structures are believed to be rock ovens built by Italian railroad workers in 1892.
