Climate Change, Fossil Fuels, and Human Well Being
Putting energy-starved peoples on an energy diet would trap millions in poverty and slow the march of progress to a cleaner, healthier, more peaceful world. It is a cure worse than the disease. Consequently, developing countries will not consent to implement it. Unfortunately, vast resources may be diverted from far more beneficial investments before climate change loses its mystique as a pretext to expand government and empower progressive elites.

The Health Care Choices Proposal: Charting a New Path to a Down Payment on Patient-Centered, Consumer-Driven Health Care Reform
After more than eight years of the Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, health insurance costs continue to spiral out of control, particularly for millions of Americans trapped in the individual and small-group markets. Choice and competition in most of the states’ individual health insurance markets has virtually collapsed, leaving millions of Americans with either limited, or no, choice of health coverage. Patient access to physicians and medical specialists has declined, as health plan provider networks have progressively narrowed. Congress Renews Push to Designate Muslim Brotherhood as Terror Group
Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are renewing a years-long push to designate the international Muslim Brotherhood organization as a terrorist organization due to its support for terror organizations that threaten U.S. security interests across the globe, according to conversations with U.S. officials spearheading the effort. Rep. Ron DeSantis (R., Fla.), the National Security Subcommittee's chair, told the Washington Free Beacon that U.S. policy has failed to address the Brotherhood's radical behavior and support for terror groups. Multiple countries, such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, have already designated the Brotherhood as a terror group. "The Muslim Brotherhood is a malevolent force, and American policy needs to reflect this truth," DeSantis told the Free Beacon. "Designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization is overdue."
