NBC Sports: U.S. Flag at Baseball Games Too Political
Everything is political to the overly sensitive mind of today’s leftist. When the Atlanta Braves unfurled a gigantic flag for the playing of the national anthem, it prompted an ultra sensitive member of the partisan media and his Twitter followers to express a whole host of ridiculous claims.

How Many Great Minds Does It Take to Invent a Telescope?
For almost any device, claiming one individual as the inventor is problematic, to say the least. Conception, demonstration, and implementation can be very different things, and the path connecting them is typically not a line but a long, challenging and tortuous route.

He was, of course, referring to the then-present era, after the far more explicitly racist laws from the slavery and segregation eras of United States history had already been done away with. But his observation about the racist effects of minimum wage laws can be traced back to the nineteenth century, and they continue to have a disproportionately deleterious effect on African-Americans into the present day.

Distracted driving law headed for overdue update
It took three years to get the message, but state lawmakers appear on the verge of updating Washington’s distracted driving law. The Senate and House have passed their bills, and the two chambers appear to have reached agreement. The governor is expected to sign the new law, which would carry a fine of $136 for manipulating an electronic device while driving. A second offense would incur a $235 penalty. If drivers are pulled over for another infraction while also using a phone or tablet, they could be cited for a second infraction of dangerously distracted driving.
