One of the purposes of this blog is to make contact with members of my extended family tree. In this post, I wish to invite contact from any descendants of Andreas Peterson Longacre (1657-1718), James Alexander (about 1770-1851), Henry Seaton (1684-1719), and Clement Bertossa (b. 1833) or his son, Clement F. Bertossa (about 1856-1948)
Here is a member of the family tree that may be of some interest:
My great-grandfather Thomas. B. Seaton's first wife's uncle was 1st Cpl. Riley Alexander, Co. F. 16th Alabama REGT. Infantry, killed at Chickamauga. Here is a link to more information than I ever wanted to know about that Civil War battle: http://www.civilwarhome.com/chickama.htm
The following addresses, over 25 years old, are of distant relatives, most likely all departed. I am seeking any information on them and their ancestors and descendants. E-mail me at rfsamt@gmail.com.
