This director blames ‘science deniers’ for his anti-Christian movie flop at the box office
Director Darren Aronofsky is blaming his latest flop at the box office on ignorant Americans. The director, who is now dating actress Jennifer Lawrence, accuses “science deniers” of not being interested in the message “mother!” (which is anti-Christian also) has to offer: that climate change is real, backed by science.

Sorry, Sen. Cassidy, But Your Health Care Bill Does Perpetuate Socialism
Although Bill Cassidy claims otherwise, the truth is that both Obamacare and its Graham-Cassidy alternative employ aspects of socialism.

Health Care Reform Takes a Knee
Trump never backed repealing the Affordable Care Act and its replacement by a real market. He is getting his wish now, while placing blame everywhere else.
How the Debate on Climate Change Is Cooling Down
The models predicting certain environmental doom were wrong, and they've been wrong for a while. Apocalyptic warnings about the end of the world as we know it are as old as humanity itself, but recent news should give the doomsayers some food for thought and lower the temperature, so to speak, in the debate about global warming and its future effects on the planet.
THE LOST PURPOSE OF LEARNING
The four-year journey to college is a cultural tradition deeply embedded in the American psyche. But has it become an empty routine? When surveying the failures of higher education today, it’s worth asking what we can learn from Augustine’s example.

Desire prevails over reason
Faith, hope, and love — those absolutes of the Christian life — are instances of desire.
Bruno Suspended Anew

Weiner pops out and disappears
Anthony Weiner didn’t dodge a stiff sentence — but managed to pull a vanishing act before the media Tuesday. A day after being slapped with a 21-month prison stint for sexting an underage teen girl, Weiner emerged from his Manhattan pad, less than three hours after his wife, Huma Abedin, walked in.

Colleges Are an 'Echo Chamber of Political Correctness.' Read Jeff Sessions' Speech on Campus Free Speech
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Tuesday that freedom of speech is under attack on college campuses in America. During a speech at Georgetown Law School, Sessions said political correctness has transformed academic spaces “into an echo chamber of political correctness and homogeneous thought.” He cited the cancelling of speaking events due to fear of protests as an example, referring to such incidents as a “heckler’s veto.” “This is not right,” he said. “This is not in the great tradition of America. And, yet, school administrators bend to this behavior. In effect, they coddle it and encourage it.”
