Latest updates: Fire at 60,000 acres and expected to grow
The Range 12 Fire burning east of Moxee and into Benton County has grown to approximately 60,000 acres, or about 94 square miles, officials said Sunday evening. The fire started Saturday on Yakima Training Center landnear Moxee and grew more than 25,000 acres over night. It is now burning in Benton County.
