Man Fired After Closing Pizza Hut Store For Thanksgiving
Pizza Hut's corporate office told CNN the franchise "made a serious error in judgment, one which we hope to help remedy." It sent CNN a statement that said the store has agreed to hire him back. "We fully respect an employee's right to not work on a holiday, which is why the vast majority of Pizza Huts in America are closed on Thanksgiving," the corporate office said in a statement. "As a result, we strongly recommended that the local franchisee reinstate the store manager and they have agreed. We look forward to them welcoming Tony back to the team." No word on whether Rohr will take his job back.

Tom Brower is a five-term State Representative (D) who is attempting to fix Hawaii’s homeless problem by smashing their belongings with a massive hammer.  This renegade campaign is baffling many as to how it helps homeless people or the community.  This is a terrible example to set and hopefully isn’t replicated by his fans with vigilant acts.  The icing on the cake is the Armani hat that the rep is sporting as he destroys old shopping carts with a smile. Hawaii currently holds the highest homeless rate in the U.S., but instead of providing shelters, aid, or assistance, lawmakers approved $100,000 to offer one-way flights out of Hawaii to any of the state’s estimated 17,000 homeless residents.

Bill Elliot was a cancer patient who lost his insurance due to ObamaCare and couldn’t pay the expensive new premiums. He was talking about paying the ObamaCare fine, going without health insurance and “letting nature take its course.” He went on FOX News where his story was picked up by C. Steven Tucker, a health insurance broker who helped him keep his insurance. Now suddenly Bill Elliot is being audited for 2009 with an interview only scheduled in April 2014. Assuming he lives that long. That might be a coincidence, but Tucker is being audited back to 2003.

The 5 Most-Shoplifted Products
1. Cosmetics and personal care products, especially Rogaine, teeth-whitening strips, makeup and facial cream; 2. Pregnancy tests, apparently because they’re easily resold online to people too embarrassed to buy in person; 3. Jewelry, because it’s hard to tag and easily worn out of the store; 4. Underwear, because multiple garments are easily snuck on in the dressing room and then invisibly walked out of the store; 5. Condoms, in stores that don’t lock them behind glass, are easily pocketed. At least they probably reduce the need for stealing pregnancy tests.

Pizza Hut Manager Says He Was Fired for Refusing to Open on Thanksgiving
A 10-year Pizza Hut employee who took a stand against working on Thanksgiving said he was fired because of it, a CBS affiliate in Indiana reports. Tony Rohr, who was general manager of a location in Elkhart, Ind., told WSBT, “I said, ‘Why can’t we be the company that stands up and says we care about our employees and they can have the day off?’” Thanksgiving and Christmas were the only days the chain was closed each year, but it decided to open this Thanksgiving, he said. When Rohr refused to call his employees to work for the holiday, he says he was told to sign a letter of resignation. He ignored that demand, too, according to WSBT.

Thousands Gather for “Christ the King” Procession in Nepal
Thousands of Christians and non-Christians gathered in Nepal's capital Kathmandu on Saturday to take part in "Christ the King procession" organized by the church. This procession has given Christianity in Nepal a more visible presence and has led to the baptism of many non-Christians. Christians and non-Christians alike expressed their delight in participating in the event even though the future of religious freedom and Christianity in Nepal's future government is uncertain. Last week, Nepal held an election that will likely see the establishment of a new government seeking to return Nepal to its Hindu roots. As a part of their platform, these political parties want to designate Nepal officially a Hindu nation. Something many Christians fear will bring more persecution.
