What is a Blood Moon?
[most popular this week] The term Blood Moon in astronomy in sometimes used as another name for the Hunter’s Moon. The term Blood Moon in Biblical prophecy appears to have been popularized by two Christian pastors, Mark Blitz and John Hagee. They use the term Blood Moon to apply to the full moons of the upcoming tetrad – four successive total lunar eclipses, with no partial lunar eclipses in between, each of which is separated from the other by six lunar months (six full moons) – in 2014 and 2015. Astronomers will not be using the term Blood Moon to describe these four upcoming lunar eclipses. [See also: Will Lunar Eclipses Cause Four Blood Moons in 2014 and 2015? from Answers in Genesis]

The Remedy For Everything But DeathThe seeds of the annual flowering plant, Nigella Sativa, have been prized for their healing properties since time immemorial.  While frequently referred to among English-speaking cultures as Roman coriander, black sesame, black cumin, black caraway and onion seed, it is known today primarily as black seed, which is at the very least an accurate description of its physical appearance. This humble, but immensely powerful seed, kills MRSA, heals the chemical weapon poisoned body, stimulates regeneration of the dying beta cells within the diabetic’s pancreas, and yet too few even know it exists.

Knife Attack Kills Christian Woman in Southern Egypt
Hostility towards Egyptian Christians in the past few months has been at an all-time high. In a horrific attack this past week, two Christian pharmacies were attacked as well as some on the street. The victims of the stabbings were all Christians. A suspect has since been arrested and it appears that charges will be brought against him. The defendant appears to be preparing an insanity defense, that looks like many as simply a cover-up to hide the real motives behind the attack of these Christian women.
