Syria crisis: Russian Caspian missiles 'fell in Iran'
Four Russian cruise missiles fired at Syria from the Caspian Sea landed in Iran, unnamed US officials say. On Wednesday, Russia said it had fired 26 missiles at 11 targets in north and north-west Syria - about 1,500km (930 miles) away. On Thursday, it reiterated that all the rockets hit their targets.

First on CNN: U.S. officials say Russian missiles heading for Syria landed in Iran
A number of cruise missiles launched from a Russian ship and aimed at targets in Syria have crashed in Iran, two U.S. officials told CNN Thursday. Monitoring by U.S. military and intelligence assets has concluded that at least four missiles crashed as they flew over Iran. The Russian Defense Ministry, however, took strong issue with the CNN report in a posting on Facebook Thursday.

The explosion occurred at 4:15 p.m. somewhere at the facility, PUD spokesman Chuck Allen said. It’s unknown how many people were injured and the extent of the injuries.

Employees injured during explosion at Priest Rapids Dam
The Grant County Sheriff's Office says six employees have been airlifted or taken by ambulance to hospitals. Some of the patients are being taken to Harborview Medical Center. All six employee families have been notified. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. They now believe electric equipment caused the explosion.
