Fed up cops turn their backs on Obama’s Labor Day visit
President Obama gave a Labor Day speech in Boston about the importance of unions on Monday, but one of the area’s top police union’s didn’t want to hear any of it. The New England Police Benevolent Association boycotted the event to protest Obama’s lack of support for law enforcement in an era of anti-cop violence. The Obama White House has overseen a “horror show” of lawlessness, the union charged, with cops as the intended victims.
